Dinner Theatre Frequently Asked Questions

Arrival times

Please arrive at the Baptist Center no more than 15 minutes prior to the stated time for each show. Our hosts and hostesses will begin seating guests 10 minutes prior to the stated time on your ticket. Because we anticipate selling out all of the shows, there will not be much room to wait to be seated at your table.

Parking

There have been lots of changes to our area of campus over the past few years. As a result, parking is extremely limited. To the right, you will find a map that includes all of the parking options around the Baptist Center. We still have our parking lot behind our building (in blue on the map below); however, accessing it is now a bit more difficult. We now have a long driveway into our lot from Waddell/Hull Street next to the new Russell Library. From Baxter Street and Hull Street, parking is available in the Hull Street deck (in green), just a short walk from our building. Parking is also available north of our building in the two lots next to Morris Hall (again, a short walk to the Baptist Center either down South Lumpkin Street or Waddell Street). Note: On Friday evening, please do not park in the areas highlighted green on the map until after 8 pm (the Hull Street Deck and the closest parking lot north of the BCM). Those marked in Yellow and Blue will be available after 4pm on Friday.

Tickets

Please bring your tickets with you to the show so that our hosts and hostesses will be able to locate your reserved table quickly. If your tickets are being held at Will Call, one of our campus ministers will be here to provide you with the tickets.

Seating for the show

Dinner and dessert will be served on the lower level of the Baptist Center before the show. Each ticket reserves a spot at one of our tables. Hosts and hostesses will escort guests upstairs one table at a time after the dessert has been served. Please note that seats in the theater are not reserved.

Run Time of Show

The run time of Big Fish is approximately 2.5 hours but does not include time for dinner and dessert service.

Cookbooks for Sale

We still have cookbooks available for purchase! A few years ago the BCM published “In the Kitchen with Mr. Lee” to honor our own Rev. Lee Hunter, long time BCM building manager and resident chef!  The cookbooks make great gifts! Each cookbook is only $15 and all proceeds go to support collegiate summer missions!
